Fifty Shades of Eyeshadows. What’s in Your Makeup Case?

Once upon a time I lived at the MAC counter in Nordstrom’s. I went several years wearing [almost] nothing but MAC makeup. My primers, concealers, foundation, brushes, blushes, bronzers, lipsticks, liners, eyeshadows and more, were all from MAC. I really was a walking MAC advertisement!

I’m happy to report that I’ve broken out of that MAC spell and expanded my horizons 😎

Thank goodness for stores like Sephora and Ulta which carry such a large variety of brands. Brands that most major department stores don’t carry.

One makeup item that I was, and still am, completely obsessed with is eyeshadows. I just love love love the variety of colors in eyeshadows. You can find any color eyeshadow to match any outfit…the possibilities are endless!

With such a variety of colors in eyeshadows, and as much as I love them all, I tend to stick to only a few basic colors. Shame on me because I’ve spent a fortune on eyeshadow after eyeshadow. Of course, when I’m feeling adventurous I will step out of my comfort zone and experiment with a color.

So, without further ado, I present to you my eyeshadow collection. I have about fifty shades of eyeshadows – actually more than that if you count the colors in my eyeshadow palettes!

And here is my current makeup case filled with all kind of goodies 🙂

  1. I do love and buy palettes too! I only have four right now but have been eyeing a few others I want to get. I’m loving the palettes more than I am the individual shadows because not only do you get more colors but you get a nice combinations of colors. I haven’t tried false lashes yet but have been wanting to try. I saw some Ardell ones the other day and almost got them! I hear the House of Lashes ones are good too. Are there any you can recommend for a newbie like me?
