POPSUGAR Must Have October Box

POPSUGAR Must Have October Box

Hi everyone!!

POPSUGAR’S October Must Have box was inspired by cozy, autumn, restful nights and breast cancer awareness.

Here is what you can find in the October box:

Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling (valued at $25). To give you a description of what this book is about, in Why Not Me?, “Kaling shares her ongoing journey to find contentment and excitement in her adult life, whether it’s falling in love at work, seeking new friendships in lonely places, attempting to be the first person in history to lose weight without any behavior modification whatsoever, or most important, believing that you have a place in Hollywood when you’re constantly reminded that no one looks like you.” I am honestly not a big reader but this book is kind of a short read and seems entertaining enough so I might give it a read in front of my fireplace some time.

Savvy Sleepers Luxury Satin Pillowcase (valued at $36). This pillowcase is 100% satin and claims to be recommended by top hair stylists and dermatologists as it prevents sleep wrinkles, reduces hair breakage, and protects salon blowouts. Although not shown in the picture below, it contains a small “secret pocket” which you can put lavender in or anything else which can help you get a good nights sleep. There is only one pillowcase provided – I wish it came with two :-/.

Easy, Tiger Brown Paper Liquor Bag Set (valued at $8). Although the wine is not included (bummer), these paper bags are really cute, don’t ya think? I love to have these kinds of things around to use when gifting wine.

Belgian Boys De Stroopwafel (valued at $1.59). I was first introduced to stroopwafels by a friend of mine on Facebook who was gracious enough to bring us some to try. They are amazingly delicious!! Stroopwafels are most popular in the Netherlands. They are basically a waffle made from two thin layers of baked dough with a caramel-like syrup filling in the middle. It’s crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. YUMMY!

The Honest Company Sea Salt + Sugar Body Scrub (valued at $17). I absolutely love to pamper myself in the shower or bath and use all kinds of products like this one here for doing just that. So, I was super excited to receive this product in this month’s box. This body scrub uses all natural products like whole grain sugars and Pacific sea salt to exfoliate your skin. It also contains shea butter and almond oils to hydrate and condition your skin, making it silky soft. It has a lavender vanilla scent.

Richer Poorer Hope Slipper Socks (valued at $15).  Admittedly, I am the biggest fan of slipper socks. I wear them ALL the time at home and own at least a dozen pairs! These pink slipper socks were designed by POPSUGAR to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The company, Richer Poorer, supports the fight against breast cancer as well as the work of Right Action For Women which is an organization that provides assistance to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer and do not have insurance or the financial flexibility to cover the high costs associated with breast screenings.

Danielle Stevens Monogram Gift Card (valued at $40). I have never heard of this jewelry brand until now but stylists and celebrities like the Kardashian’s, Carrie Underwood, and Jennifer Lopez have rocked jewelry from this brand. I am not sure which monogram piece I will be spending my $40 on but you can be bet it will be Fab!

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product (valued at $11.96). This is a leave-in product which helps to repair dry damaged hair. Some of the 10 “miracle” benefits of using this product are that it: adds shine, detangles, controls frizz, seals & protects hair color, prevents split ends, stops hair breakage, and protects hair from hot iron styling products. I’ve actually used this before and it’s an okay product. The company is a proud sponsor of Right Action For Women.

As usual here’s the nifty pamphlet describing each item and its cost.

The total value of this box (excluding any coupons) is $154.55. POPSUGAR is $39.95/month plus tax and is filled with all kinds of fun “must have” items. To sign up for the POPSUGAR Must Have subscription box, click here.

Until next time loves! xx

    1. Haha I know right?! At least it came with a coupon so that I could get a second pillowcase. This subscription box is great though. I actually looked into all the different subscription boxes out there before signing for this one and the biggest selling point for me was the variety. Not only that but the products are really good. I find myself using almost all of them. Thanks for reading hun!! Xx ☺️

  3. I’m so glad I subscribed. I love my box. First, I was thinking about changing my pillowcase. OK, good to go (I can now test). I can always use wine bottle stuff to take to people’s home and I love scrubs and hair stuff. I’m not a novel reader but I’ll try it. OH, and I totally needed new fuzzy socks. PERFECT!!
