The very first PopSugar Must Have Mini subscription box has launched! As I mentioned in my last post, the Must Have Mini is PopSugar’s newest monthly subscription service that costs $18.95 per month. It’s a smaller version of their regular Must Have box and includes two (2) full-sized products in fashion, beauty, and/or home. I think the smaller box is great if you want a little surprise each month without breaking the bank, if you have other subscriptions but still want a little something from PopSugar, or if you just can’t get enough of the regular Must Have box and want a little more. I have been very impressed by PopSugar thus far so let’s see what the Mini has to offer, shall we?

Here’s how the Mini box arrives. As you can see it is smaller than their regular Must Have box and the design has changed a bit (the design has also changed with the regular Must Have box).

Like the regular Must Have Box, the Mini box includes a fold out card detailing the items included.

Farmacy Lip Bloom ($16.50). This is a moisture replenishing and protective lip balm in a lavender mint scent. This lip balm is also sold at Sephora in a few other scents. The balm is made with natural ingredients and claims to provide softer, fuller lips. The formula contains Echinacea GreenEnvy, a variant of echinacea purpurea that contains the highest known concentration of cichoric acid, which is a natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

I’ve tried this lip balm a few times and it provides a lot of moisture and some shine to my lips. I don’t believe it makes my lips any fuller but it definitely makes them softer. I really like the fact that it’s made with natural ingredients and the packaging is great.

GreenMarket Purveying Co. White Melon Pantry Candle ($16). I love candles around the home so I am very happy whenever I receive new candles to try. This is a hand poured soy candle with cotton wick in the scent “White Melon”. The scent is described as having notes of fresh melon, peach, orange zest, whipped cream, sugar, and vanilla. But, I have a better description of the scent. It smells EXACTLY like watermelon flavored gum. To be exact, it smells just like the Bubblicious Watermelon Wave gum! No joke. The scent is pretty strong too. As soon as I opened the box, I smelled the watermelon deliciousness. Thank goodness I like that smell, otherwise I would be gifting this.

The total retail value of this box is $32.50 and the price is $18.95 + tax. Not a great deal here but still a good value. Definitely not the same type of value you would get with their regular Must Have box.

I had very high expectations with this box and was so excited to see what PopSugar would include. For me, this box did not exceed my expectations but I do really like the products they’ve included. It honestly just left me wanting more. I am very curious to see what they have in store with future boxes. I am hoping for some great makeup or beauty items. I’ll give this box a few more tries to see if I end up loving it the way I loved the regular Must Have box.
