Today is my birthday so I took the day off from work to just stay home and relax. No stress for me today! Tonight, I will be going out to dinner with my husband, mom, and mother-in-law at one of my favorite restaurants. Since it’s a special day, I am going all out with my makeup and wearing my favorite Chanel makeup products. Keeping in classy!

My absolute favorite – ride or die – Chanel makeup products are their Rouge Coco lipsticks which I reviewed here, their classic Soleil Tan De Chanel bronzer, and their Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder.

If you’re into cream bronzers, the Soleil Tan De Chanel is the perfect bronzing makeup base. It’s a light creamy bronzer with a velvety smooth finish. Although it’s described as a gel bronzer, I think it’s more of a cream bronzer. To use, I simply take my damp beauty blender and just dab this all over my face after applying my foundation. It leaves my skin looking radiant, glowy and sun-kissed without looking overly bronzed. It’s just beautiful!

I don’t have many pressed powders anymore since I’ve been using mostly translucent powders to set my foundation and concealer these days. The one pressed powder I still own and love is the Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder in the shade 30-Naturel. This powder is super finely milled, lightweight, and leaves a natural matte finish. It contains light-reflecting pigments to give you a soft-focus halo-like look. My skin tends to get oily so this is perfect for touch ups too.
