Anyone else jump on the new Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection that launched in July? I love Jaclyn Hill so when I saw her collaborating with Becca Cosmetics again on a Champagne Collection, I couldn’t resist. Champagne Pop is the bomb so I knew something special was going to happen with this collection – something magical. Like this half highlighter, half blush duo – the Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duos.
The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection consists of several highlighting products (and an angled highlighting brush) that come in cream, liquid, and powder form. There are cream highlighter sticks for God’s sake! The entire collection can be found on Sephora’s website.
The Champagne Splits Shimmering Skin Perfector Mineral Blush Duos, or the Becca Split Pans like Jacklyn calls them, are a highlighter + blush duo. Two of these duos come with Champagne Pop as the highlighter and two come with a new highlight shade called Prosecco Pop. The four duo combinations are:
Highlight Shade / Blush Shade
- Champagne Pop / Hyacinth
- Champagne Pop / Flowerchild
- Prosecco Pop / Amaretto
- Prosecco Pop / Pamplemousse
Since I already own Champagne Pop, I purchased the Prosecco Pop / Pamplemousse duo which comes with 0.13 oz of Prosecco Pop and 0.15 oz of Pamplemousse ($38 USD).
The new highlight shade, Prosecco Pop, is described as a medium warm gold and was inspired by a golden bronze look for summer. The blush, Pamplemousse, is described as a matte warm coral pink. The combo on these two is killer.
Here are some swatches of the Prosecco Pop / Pamplemousse duo (two swipes of each product on my arm):
As far as the packaging goes, these duos couldn’t be any more gorgeous!! They come in a gold compact with silver accents and a generously sized mirror inside.
Highlighter & Blush Review:
The formula on the Shimmering Skin Perfector (highlighter) has a soft, almost creamy consistency and is easy to control and apply – it doesn’t fall over your face as you apply. The finish is sheen and provides a gorgeous high-shine glow. This shade (Prosecco Pop) is definitely a great golden highlighter for the summer. I might prefer Champagne Pop’s peachy undertone for the winter though. For kicks, I swatched Champagne Pop next to Prosecco Pop.

The Mineral Blush has a similar formula with a satin finish (even though it’s described as a matte blush). This shade (Pamplemousse) is a bright pop of medium-dark pink which is also a great blush shade for the summer. The color payoff on this blush is insane! I generally use only one swipe of the product as it has an intense color payoff. I highly recommend using a light hand with this.
Both the highlighter and blush are highly pigmented so I would start with one or two layers and build it up as needed because a little goes a long way. They each blend flawlessly with other powders, creams or liquids. What I love most about these is the soft, silky consistency of the formula that blends so easily.
Becca Cosmetics really makes some of the best (and bestselling) highlighters and blushes on the market. Hands down their highlighters and mineral blushes are top notch. I am extremely happy with this highlighter + blush duo and would highly recommend it.
Have you tried any of the Champagne Splits?
Until next time loves,

Pretty! I only have Becca Opal – I think it’s enough highlighter for a LIFETIME! 😛 I do really want to try a Becca blush though.

Haha yes! That’s the way I feel about my champagne pop, I don’t think I’ll ever hit pan! Based on this blush, I am definitely going to try some other Becca blushes. The formula is great and they’re so pigmented. Those would probably last forever too. Xx

I’ve been waiting for these to come back into the stock in the UK for what feels like ages, I love this colour combo, it’s the one I’ve been eyeing too, mainly as I love the word Pamplemousse! x

Pretty! I don’t buy much Becca and I’m not a Jaclyn fan but these splits are a good idea.

These looked so pretty however when I swatched in store, at least the highlighters, I found it too shimmery for my taste. It is gorgeous, just not something I would wear. Who knows, maybe I’ll change my mind later. 😉

I didn’t buy any of these. I have no luck with the Champagne Pop (it’s too metallic for me) so I wound up buying all the new marc jacobs blushes. And then I live and breathe off hourglass for highlighters.

Okay, so I haven’t convinced myself to get any of Jaclyn’s highlighters yet, but I love her! I love my Becca Opal highlighter, though. The pigment in these is amazing and a little goes such a long way! I’ve barely made a dent in my Opal! I want the Prosecco/Amaretto split!

I’ve heard great things about Becca’s Opal highlighter. It’s a fan fave I want to try. These duos are great too. Thanks for stopping by!

Same here until this prosecco pop which I used all summer! It’s a great gold shimmery bronzey highlight that looks great with a tan. I recently tried another one I might be writing about in a future post!
