I almost stopped buying eyeliner pencils. Almost. I love liquid liner and have been using it for ages without ever touching an eyeliner pencil. Most eyeliner pencils I’ve used are either too hard on my eyes or are just plain difficult to work with. Plus, they don’t last long and smudge. Then I discovered the Ardency Inn MODSTER Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner and my whole game changed. Having used just about every eyeliner pencil out there – drug store and higher end brands, I’ve come to the conclusion that the MODSTER Eyeliner is the only eyeliner pencil you will EVER need and I’ll tell you why. It’s hard for me to believe that I had replaced a good ol’ eyeliner pencil with liquid liner all these years. Don’t get me wrong, liquid liner is my ride or die and I will continue to use it for as long as I live! A cat eye is just not a cat eye without liquid liner.

When I don’t feel like rocking a cat eye though, I reach for this eyeliner pencil. The MODSTER eyeliner pencil works beautifully if you’re looking for a simple eyeliner look on the lids. It works like magic on the upper and lower waterline because it does not budge. Finally, the eyeliner gods have listened!

The MODSTER Eyeliner is a creamy waterproof eyeliner supercharged with color. The pigment on these is unlike any other eyeliner pencil I have ever used. I am not just saying that lightly. Trust me. I don’t know how Ardency Inn did it but they have maxed out on color. The color payoff is superb. It really doesn’t get any better.

The formula is soft and creamy so it glides on effortlessly – yet it’s still firm enough to precisely draw your lines. If you’re looking to rock a smokey eye, you can work with the product to blend/smudge but this has to be done quickly (upon initial application) because the product then sets and literally will not move until you take it off.

Personally, I use this eyeliner when I’m not in the mood to go all out with “wings”. I also use this on my waterline every day because it does not come off. Every other eyeliner pencil I’ve used comes right off my waterline as soon as I yawn, or it transfers from the bottom of my lids to the upper part of my lids due to my hooded eyes. Not this eyeliner!

The MODSTER Eyeliner comes in 14 different shades which you can purchase on the Sephora or Ardency Inn website for $20 USD. I purchased the black, brown, and turquoise shades but there are some other beautiful colors you can choose from.

Pros:

• Highly pigmented color
• Creamy formula glides on smoothly and is gentle on the eyes
• Truly Waterproof. Perfect for those with watery eyes as the product does not come off with just water. You need to use makeup remover.
• Does not move, budge, smear…whatever you want to call it. This baby stays on all day until you are ready to take it off.

Cons: NONE!

Bottom line: You need this eyeliner in your life! Just like a good liquid lipstick, this product stays put all day and provides exceptional color payoff. I’m done with my other eyeliner pencils. As you can see, I have quite a few.
