A bronzer + blush duo? Sign me up! It’s kind of like the creamer to my coffee…true soul mates when combined. We are talking about the Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzers though. The really neat thing about this product is that you get two products in one. Not to mention the adorable compact it comes in which is shaped like a heart. Of course, you can opt to just use the bronzer or blush alone because each of them individually are amazing. But, when blended together it creates something magical; a beautiful flush glow.

This duo claims to add warmth, contour and a pop of color for the look of true love. Yes, this product absolutely adds warmth and a pop of color and you can definitely contour with it. But, can you see the look of true love with it? Umm, okay. Just leave it to Too Faced to come up with something so clever.

The Soul Mates Blushing Bronzers come in two different shades; one is a peach/coral blush and light to medium bronzer duo called Carrie & Big, and the other is a pink blush and medium to deep bronzer duo called Ross & Rachel. I will not even go into how I feel about the two couples Too Faced chose to name these after. Well, maybe just a little bit. Let’s just say I was not rooting for Carrie & Big. He let her down far too many times! I am all about forgiveness but true love really doesn’t stand up his fiancé at the alter! I mean how many times did Big have to screw up before Carrie left him for good? I digress….

These blush and bronzer powders have great pigmentation, are super silky, and very easy to blend. Just lightly sweep your brush on the blush and bring it right through to the bronzer and apply. Or, start with the bronzer on the cheeks and around the edges of your face then go in with the blush on the apples of your cheeks. Either way, you get the perfect combination of gorgeous color. It’s super easy to achieve a smooth, natural, healthy glow with these duos and the finish has a soft shimmer to it (not matte) for a sun-kissed look.

I’ve been using the Ross & Rachel duo this summer since it is a bit warmer toned than the Carrie & Big duo. With a tan, it looks perfect. The Carrie & Big duo is too light for me in the summer but would look perfect in the winter. It all depends on your skin tone. If you have very fair skin, I would say to start with the Carrie & Big duo as the Ross & Rachel might be too dark for you.

All in all this product is fabulous! It goes on smoothly, blends really well, has cute packaging which is good for travel too since it has a mirror, and is perfect for getting ready quickly in the morning when you don’t want to spend a ton of time on makeup.

Too Faced originally released these duos in the Spring, both were limited editions at $34 each. But, you can still pick these up on the Too Faced website. I was able to snatch these up from Hautelook at $16 each. You gotta love Hautelook!
