My Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have box has finally arrived and the reveal is here! After seeing what was included in last year’s box, I had to order this for myself and I could not wait to get it in the mail. This is a special edition, one-time purchase box which promised to include a collection of luxurious gifts to give and receive this holiday season. It provides carefully selected items (curated by Neiman Marcus Fashion Director Ken Downing) in fashion, beauty, home decor, and more.

Each item was individually wrapped in black tissue paper (although it looks like brown tissue paper in my picture because I used a flash) which made it really fun to open!

This box comes with a fold out card detailing the items included. Surprisingly, it does not list the prices of the items which is a feature I enjoy with their regular monthly boxes. However, everything included is an item or a brand that Neiman Marcus carries.

Let’s get to the fun part – what’s inside!

Mela Artisans Fantasy in Grey Decorative Tray (valued at $130). This is a beautiful decorative tray handcrafted from natural bone with intricate grey and ivory motif. I cannot wait to display this tray in my home. It is absolutely gorgeous!

Eddie Borgo Small Chain Tassel Pendant Necklace (valued at $125). This is a beautiful silver plated chain necklace with small ball stations and a fringe pendant. It has a box clasp with spikes and logo charm. Although I don’t think that I would pay $125 for this necklace because it is not sterling silver, it is sure to be my new favorite accessory piece!

 

Deborah Lippmann “Pop Life” Nail Lacquer Set (valued at $54). This is a set of 3 nail polishes from celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann. The colors in the top two pictures below from left to right are: A Fine Romance (described as a sheer pearly champagne), Dark Side of the Moon (described as an intense eggplant) and Stairway to Heaven (described as an iridescent icicle). These colors are stunning and I cannot wait to get them on my nails, especially “Dark Side of the Moon”. Add “Stairway to Heaven” to any nail color for a pop of glitter.

Kevyn Aucoin The Look Book Essential Glamour Palette (valued at $45). This is an all-in-one palette created by makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin. It comes with 4 eye shadows, 2 creamy cheek tints, 2 lip glosses, a dual ended applicator, mirror, and 2 step by step how-to guides on achieving natural and dramatic looks. I love how you get all of the makeup essentials in one palette and the colors look lovely but I did not swatch them because I am not sure if I am going to keep or gift this yet.

Super by Retrosuperfuture Classic Black Sunglasses (valued at $199). I have never heard of this brand of sunglasses before but found them on the Neiman Marcus website. These are a classic style of sunglasses that remind me of the ones worn by Tom Cruise in Risky Business. They are handmade in Italy and are very sturdy. I honestly would not pay $199 for these so I am glad they came in this box. I just wish they were cat-eye shaped which is more my style.

RabLabs Cele Clock (valued at $120). I have quite a fascination with natural rocks and this one (agate rock) is coupled with a clock that you can remove and use as a picture frame so I am truly in love with this. It will go right on top of my desk in my home office. Fun little factoid: in ancient times, semi-precious agate was believed to bring pleasant dreams to its owners. 🙂

Vosges Haut-Chocolat Organic Peanut Butter BonBons Box (valued at $24). I love chocolate and when combined with peanut butter, I am in trouble! So delicious! These chocolate bonbons are certified organic and gluten-free. Each bonbon is filled with creamy organic peanut butter, infused with pink Himalayan salt, and the chocolate is topped with a crunch of Maldon salt.

The total value of this box is $697 and you pay $250 + tax. I most certainly would not have paid retail price for any of these items except for maybe the tray because it is so perfect for my home. But, for the price of this box, you get some really great items you can use for yourself or gift to others. All in all, I’m super happy with this box.
